Admissions Process

Thank you for your interest in Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School!

We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents the ability to track the status of their child's application. To begin the Online Application process, Create an Account. Upon account creation, you will receive an email containing a verification link. Once your email address has been verified, log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.

A non-refundable fee of $150must be submitted with each application.

After submitting the application, you will be able to track your admissions status at the school by logging in to your account. In addition, you will be able to print the completed application, monitor when the school receives any applicable supplemental forms and, if necessary, reprint the forms.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I apply for the 2024-20245 school year?
Applications for the 2024-2025 school year will open on Wednesday, November 15 and close on Thursday, November 30.

What documents do I need to apply?
During the application process, you will need to provide the following documents for your applicant: a non-refundable $150 application fee, birth certificate, Catholic Baptismal certificate, immunization record or waiver, and, if applicable, report cards, standardized test scores, and/or custody information.

Can I take a tour of the campus?
To request a tour, please fill out an inquiry form here. Tours for families interested in the 2025-2026 school year and beyond will be available in the spring.

How old must my child be to enter Pre-Kindergarten?
Students applying for Pre-Kindergarten must turn four years old on or before September 30 of the year they begin the program.

How old must my child be to enter Kindergarten?
Students applying for Kindergarten must turn five years old on or before September 30 of the year they begin the program.

What is your acceptance criteria?
The schools of the Diocese of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at its school. They do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs. 
 
In circumstances where space is limited, students will be accepted in the following priority:

  • Currently enrolled students whose families practice their faith and are Identified Offertory Givers (IOG). IOG donate a minimum amount of $325 to the Church to support the stewardship program. Those donations must be made through weekly use of MBS church envelopes, automatic church deductions, or onling giving through the church website. Donations will be verified by December 15 unless otherwise authorized by the Pastor/Principal.
  • Siblings of currently enrolled students (MBS parishioners must be IOG and meet yearly volunteer requirements. Out of parish or non-Catholic families must meet yearly volunteer requirements.)
  • Catholic students of parishioners who are IOG
  • Catholic students of parishioners transferring from another Catholic school who are IOG
  • Students of Catholic families residing in another parish who practice their faith and are IOG
  • Students of families of other faiths identified as members of their church
